1️⃣be touted as…
It is being touted as a means of propelling buses and lorries, and even ships and aircraft.
2️⃣put on make-up
make-up 是「化妆品」，所以 put on make-up 是「化妆」。
3️⃣stand up against sb / sth
stand up for sb / sth 是「支持，维护」，所以「维护自己权利」的英文为 stand up for our rights。
Don\x26#39;t be afraid to stand up for yourself.
4️⃣making a mountain out of a molehill
