9月2日，据央视新闻报道，美国能源部近日公布的数据显示，截至8月28日当周，美国战略石油储备较此前一周减少超过300万桶，库存量降至2.866亿桶，跌至1982年以来的最低水平。美国从1975年开始建立战略石油储备以应对供应中断风险，美国战略石油储备曾在2009年12月至2011年7月初维持7.26亿桶以上的高位。
