北京时间9月11日，中足联官方宣布韦世豪因比赛结束后挑衅公众，被停赛3场+罚款3万。此后，韦世豪在社媒上对自己早前的一条采访点了推荐。
这条采访切片由账号“韦（限流版）”在9月11日（处罚公布后）发布，采访中，韦世豪表示很多处罚不公平，当时他在采访中称，“就是不公平，我现在也觉得不公平。我就说他两句就罚我7场，踢人一脚就罚我7场，可能吗？就只是因为这件事情是我做的，所以才罚我7场。”
