9月21日，第二十届亚运会女排半决赛在日本小牧市体育公园综合体育馆进行。中国女排与泰国女排鏖战五局，最终3:2击败对手，晋级决赛，五局比分是23:25、25:21、25:11、26:28、15:6。决赛将于北京时间22日18时20分打响，中国女排将对阵日本队与韩国队之间的胜者。
