当地时间9月23日早晨，本届亚运会田径项目的比赛正式打响。在男子半程马拉松竞走比赛中，19岁的中国选手石升吉力压世界纪录保持者、东道主选手山西利和夺得冠军，摘下了本届亚运会田径首金。这也是中国田径队在亚运会历史上收获的第200枚金牌。
