北京时间9月26日，骑士总裁奥尔特曼接受了媒体采访，期间谈到了球队主将多诺万-米切尔。
“我们得到他（米切尔）之后，球队立刻成为了一支让人非看不可、能够登上黄金时段的球队。他来到我们这里之后，已经成长为一名MVP级别的球员。他对这支球队以及这座城市的认同和投入，无人能及。我们希望有一天能够看到他的球衣悬挂在球馆上空。”奥尔特曼说道。
