Faculty Positions at the National School of Development and the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development, Peking University (All Ranks)

The National School of Development (NSD) at Peking University is a multidisciplinary school grounded in economics and one of China’s leading institutions for economic and policy research. The Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development (ISSCAD), established at Peking University in 2016, offers English-taught MPA and Ph.D. programs in National Development Studies designed for government officials and scholars from developing countries. NSD and ISSCAD share the same faculty and administration.

NSD and ISSCAD invite applications for multiple faculty positions at all ranks (assistant, associate, and full professor) in economics, political science, and public policy. Appointments begin in September 2027. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field, or expect to complete one by the start of the appointment. We encourage applications from new Ph.D. graduates as well as from established scholars with strong records of research and teaching. Candidates trained at universities in China and abroad are welcome.

Faculty teach in the undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. programs, in English or Chinese. The standard teaching load is two courses per year. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

北京大学国家发展研究院（简称“北大国发院”）是以经济学为基础的多学科综合性学院，是中国领先的经济学与政策研究机构之一。北京大学南南合作与发展学院（简称“南南学院”）成立于2016年，面向发展中国家的政府官员和学者，开设全英文授课的公共管理硕士（MPA）和国家发展学博士项目。国发院与南南学院共享师资与管理团队。

北大国发院、南南学院现面向全球招聘 经济学、政治学、公共政策 领域各职级（助理教授、副教授、教授）教师若干名，拟于 2027年9月 入职。申请人须已获得相关学科博士学位，或预计于入职前获得博士学位。我们欢迎应届博士毕业生申请，也欢迎具有突出研究与教学成果的资深学者申请。国内外高校培养的博士均可申请。

受聘教师承担本科、硕士及博士项目的教学，授课语言为中文或英文。标准教学工作量为每年两门课程。薪酬待遇具有竞争力，将根据受聘者的资历与经验确定。
