据日本朝日电视台今天（10月18日）报道，10月17日在爱媛县西条市举行的传统庆典活动上，参加抬轿的西条市副市长难波江明广（62岁）被太鼓台压在下面，伤重身亡。报道称，这场庆典活动上使用的太鼓台高约5.5米，重约3吨。目前，警方正在调查事故发生时的详细情况及事故原因。
