The choice stems from the birthday of Professor Roberto Caldeyro-Barcia.
Professor Roberto Of Uruguay has devoted his life to perinatology.
围产期是指产前、产时和产后的一段时期。围产期的定义有4种：①围产期Ⅰ：从妊娠满28周至产后一周；②围产期Ⅱ：从妊娠满20周至产后4周；③围产期Ⅲ：从妊娠满28周至产后4周；④围产期Ⅳ：从胚胎形成至产后1周

Perinatal period refers to the period before, during and after childbirth. There are four definitions of perinatal period: ①Perinatal period ⅰ: from 28 weeks of gestation to one week postpartum; ②Perinatal period ⅱ: from 20 weeks of pregnancy to 4 weeks postpartum; ③Perinatal period ⅲ: from 28 weeks of gestation to 4 weeks postpartum; ④Perinatal period ⅳ: from embryo formation to 1 week postpartum.

The "Day to Prevent Unwanted Teenage Pregnancy"，founded by Latin American Saludy Y Mujer (CELSAM) and Bayer in 2003.
