初秋的广西横州，洪水早已退去，灾后重建工作有条不紊推进。本土企业家马锦烜却没能等到家乡全面重建。江河安澜之际，连日超负荷操劳的他突发疾病，经抢救无效不幸离世。
Ma Jinxuan, a 43-year-old local entrepreneur from Mashan town in Hengzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, died on Aug 15 after collapsing from exhaustion during this summer's flood disaster response.

马恒原名马锦烜，43岁，是南宁横州市马山镇的本土企业家，长期从事物流、生鲜与电商业务。在今夏横州水灾最吃紧时，在家乡深耕二十余年的马锦烜目睹灾区惨状，满心焦灼。
看见救援者与灾民难以吃上热食，他当即萌生开办爱心厨房的念头，常对志愿者与合作伙伴说：“大家尽管出力，资金缺口由我兜底。”

他几乎天天奔波在一线：牵头搭建爱心厨房，带领200多名志愿者日均送出近万份快餐；多方奔走组织力量，统筹调度车辆、组建物流队伍，投入抢险和灾后重建。
Ma had been working tirelessly at the height of the floods. He set up a volunteer kitchen that, with the help of more than 200 volunteers, delivered nearly 10,000 hot meals daily to affected residents. He also coordinated vehicles and logistics for rescue operations and post-flood reconstruction.
坚守的日子里，马锦烜几乎事事亲力亲为、全程统筹。白天扎根厨房盯生产、跑配送、访灾情，深夜调度上百台车辆参与道路抢修、物资转运、人员安置，手机电话昼夜不停。
“他常常忙得顾不上吃饭，扒两口饭菜便继续工作，困了就在办公室折叠床上短暂小憩，醒来立刻投入工作。”他的同事韦启勤说，身边亲友和我们多次劝他休息，他总是笑着回应“没事，还能撑”。
8月12日，他突发身体不适，却仍牵挂救灾工作，强忍病痛自行就医。住院期间，他依旧心系灾区，反复核对剩余物资，叮嘱团队重点帮扶百合镇、马山镇特困受灾家庭。8月15日，噩耗传来，这位心怀大爱的企业家不幸离世，将最赤诚的善意永远留在了家乡的土地上。
On Aug 12, Ma fell ill but went to the hospital on his own, still checking on relief supplies and urging his team to prioritise aid for the most vulnerable families in Baihe and Mashan towns. He passed away three days later, as floodwaters receded and rebuilding efforts were underway. His death has left a deep mark on the community he served with devotion.
