9月2日，安徽淮南市九龙岗镇一液化气站发生爆炸，现场浓烟滚滚，爆炸声不断。事发地点紧邻淮南十四中，当时校内学生正在军训，从校内可看到不远处的明火和浓烟。3日，淮南市应急管理局工作人员回应称，暂未接到人员伤亡报告，事故原因正在进一步调查中。
