当地时间22日，以色列国防部长卡茨表示，如果今后再有以色列人被绑架，那么巴勒斯坦加沙地带最大城市加沙城将被“清空”。
卡茨当天在一场活动上说，他在此警告“恐怖组织及其支持者”，只要有一名以色列士兵或平民被绑架，那么整座加沙城的百万居民必将南迁。
