首盘比赛，吴易昺以6-3获胜。第二盘吴易昺6-2再胜一盘，2-0淘汰松冈隼晋级决赛。
决赛中，吴易昺将对阵2-1战胜苏丹诺夫的黄泽林。上届杭州亚运会，两人曾有过交手，最终黄泽林取胜。
