当地时间14日，伊朗伊斯兰革命卫队海军发表声明称，当天上午，一艘载有2500个集装箱的货轮试图通过霍尔木兹海峡一条未经授权的危险航道，在触碰水雷后发生爆炸并起火沉没。
声明提醒当地船只和渔民在通过该航道时务必保持高度警惕，避免与漂浮在水面上的集装箱相撞。
