陶艺家Akihiro Nikaido，1977年出生于札幌。1999年毕业于文化学院艺术专门学校的陶瓷系，自2010年开始策划和举办陶艺活动，至今他每年仍然举办约10次个展，并在纽约、巴黎、伦敦、台湾、香港、北京、上海等地举办了众多展览。并成立了一个名为“Toh-ism”的陶瓷艺术家团体，以支持很多当地的年轻艺术家。作品灵感从包括台湾和中国在内的世界各地文化中汲取。
