北京时间9月19日，菲尼克斯太阳官方宣布，球队已裁掉侧翼球员乔丹-沙克尔。
此前，太阳曾与沙克尔签下了一份Exhibit 10合同。预计沙克尔将在新赛季加盟太阳G联赛赛季的附属球队。
沙克尔此前曾效力于奇才，并在四个G联赛赛季中辗转过三支不同的球队。上赛季，沙克尔辗转效力于德国和比利时的球队，场均得到5.1分。
