北京时间9月28日，据知名记者Marc Stein报道，达拉斯独行侠正在研究各种方案，希望在新赛季开始前将德怀特-鲍威尔留在球队阵容中。
这名35岁的球员上周与独行侠签下了一份为期一年、部分保障的合同。
目前，独行侠阵容中已经拥有联盟规定上限的15份标准合同。
鲍威尔是目前独行侠阵中效力时间最长的球员，上赛季他场均得到3.3分和4.1个篮板。
