10月19日，广东惠州惠阳淡水街道，巨型泥浆柱从地下喷涌上天，目击者称约有二三十米高，持续了10多分钟，疑似地下深处有大型工程。新桥村工作人员回应：是之前打的钻探孔，导致地下水喷出来，据说是2020年打的。工程队跟区政府都有应急方案。昨天水电、交通局、铁路部门都去了。来源：荔枝新闻
