西南医科大学研究团队在探讨NRIR在种植体周围炎期间对巨噬细胞极化的调控作用及其潜在机制相关研究中，为了验证NRIR是否通过调控RSAD2发挥作用，使用lipofect5000转染试剂将靶向RSAD2的质粒转染到NRIR敲低的THP-1巨噬细胞中，以恢复RSAD2的表达。RT-qPCR和Western blot结果显示，靶向RSAD2的质粒成功转染进细胞，RSAD2的过表达逆转了NRIR敲低导致的M1型巨噬细胞中基因和蛋白表达的降低。
