9月17日，从产业链人士获悉，特斯拉相关团队已于9月16日落地宁波，并于9月17日开启新一轮针对旗下机器人业务的量产审厂。特斯拉此轮审厂将实质导向Optimus的量产，目前已经向供应链企业下达相关订单。
