据中国地震台网正式测定，8月30日18时32分在贵州毕节市威宁自治县发生3.0级地震，震源深度10公里，震中位于北纬26.75度，东经104.20度。
历史地震：根据中国地震台网速报目录，震中周边200公里内近5年来发生3级以上地震共172次，最大地震是2026年6月29日在四川宜宾市高县发生的5.5级地震（距离本次震中201公里），按震级大小前50次历史地震分布如图。
